Suffering

yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory,

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.

For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

(Old testament believers), let us throw off everything that hinders

And the sin that so easily entangles us, and

Let us run the race marked out for us.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith,

who for the joy set before Him endured the cross,
scorning it’s shame and sat down on the right hand of the throne of God.

Consider Him, who endured such opposition from sinful men

so that you will not lose heart.”

Testing & Wisdom

 “No temptation (testing) has seized you except what is common to man.
and God is faithful.

He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.

But will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

1 Corinthians 10:13

“If any of you lacks wisdom, they should ask God, who gives generously

to all, without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

But when He asks, he must believe and doubt not, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea,
blown and tossed by the wind.

Such a person should not think he will receive any thing from God.

precious than gold that perishes,
though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise,

yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible
and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:28-31

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power

is made perfect (Complete) in weakness.

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses

This is why I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships

in persecutions, in difficulties.

For when I am weak then I am strong. (Dependant on the Lord)”
