Lets see how Gods Word, the Bible describes Heaven!

Jesus Christ is the Son of God! Jesus is His human name, as He was born into the world. Christ is His name also and means Saviour. He became the Saviour and rescuer of the entire world of people of all peoples, nations and colours. Sometimes we will call Him by His human name “Jesus”. He has a wonderful home called Heaven, which is also called the “kingdom of God”. He wants you to be there with Him. There you they will be free, safe and secure - forever!

He has provided to care for your every little or big need!

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

God’s future Plan is to re-make all the heavens and the earth.

 In heaven you will never hear any more crying, arguing or angry words. There will be no more fighting and wars. There will only be happiness, joy and peace, because God is boss and in charge, and lovingly provides for our every need.

There will be great parties in Heaven, None like we can ever imagine here on this earth. Guess what? You are invited too!

Imagine having a body, which can fly anywhere in God’s new universe, and visit any of the planets - Close up too.  Heaven sounds like a place I want to go when I die.

Let’s do a small review 

The Bible says that Jesus Christ is The God. This means that He Created and made everything. He made all the heavens, the sky, the sun, moon and stars.He made the earth, clouds, trees, plants and the seas too! Jesus Christ the Creator holds everything in His hands. He stops them from falling apart. He is true and faithful!

                    

 He made all the fish in the sea. He made the animals too, and all the colourful birds. He even made the lizards, spiders and all the creepy crawlies.

                         

                

                         

He created people. He created Adam and Eve too, These were our original parents!

All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, The Lord God Made them All!

Our first Father, who was named Adam and our first mother named Eve, were the first to sin on the earth. They did this many, many years ago when they disobeyed God. They were commanded, “Not to eat” fruit from “The tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil” which, was in the garden. The Garden was called the Garden of Eden. This was their home to live. Everything was provided for them. Here they walked and talked with The Lord God their Creator. Satan’s big deception and his Big Lie. 

Satan the Devil Lied to Eve and Tricked her into taking the forbidden fruit. He came and told Eve a Big Lie, that she would not die if she ate the fruit from the tree of the “knowledge good and evil, but that she would be like God, knowing good from evil. Satan had taken over the mouth of the beautiful animal the “Serpent” and spoke through the serpents’ mouth. 

She let herself doubt what God and her husband Adam had said to her. She listened to the Devils deception and believed his Big Fat Lie!
Sword Drill: Genesis 3: 1 - 6

 She wanted knowledge that she didn’t need to know, which God had not perfectly provided for her. She decided to disobey God to get this knowledge, so she took and ate the forbidden fruit. She then gave some to Her Husband Adam and he took it from her hand and he ate it too.

     Both could have said No!  

“BUT”, They both chose to disobey Gods command!

 Adam chose for Eve and her companionship, instead of Gods.

Adam was held responsible, because God had put Adam in charge in the Garden. God had made Adam the ruler of the earth. We don’t know what the tree looked like, or what the fruit looked, or tasted like.  Only God knows!

What Must I Do To Be Forever Saved?

Because of their disobedience, Adam and Eve now became forever dead to God, even though they were still living.
They now became “Spiritually Dead” and could not be related to God, as their God, or have fellowship with Him at all. Their decision displeased God. He had to judge and condemn them, as we have already seen in lesson 3

God drove them out of His garden, forever.

They now had learnt to disobey God, just like we do some times. This disobedience is called sinfulness; because Adam sinned we are all born sinners and are separated from God forever. Adam and Eve now had within them a “Sinful Nature”.

As a result they began to die physically. once physically dead, Adam and his wife Eve will spend forever without God. They will be under Gods punishment with Satan forever, in  “The Lake of Fire”.

We all do wrong things, called sins. We sin because we are born with Adams nature, which is in our body cells. What kind of sins do we commit and even like to do?

 All of these sins occur because we have an “Old Sin Nature” within our bodies and we choose to commit them, ignorantly or knowingly! Sometimes we try very hard not to sin. Sometimes we just can’t help our selves and just give up trying.

 What Must I Do To Be Saved? 

God has to condemn and punish sin forever, because of His perfect nature. We have learnt about “The Person of God” in lesson 1, that God is perfect and can have nothing to do with sin. Wherever He finds it, He must Condemn and punish sin. We are born sinful, as Adam was at his fall.

God’s word The Bible says,
“For all have sinned and fall short of God’s Glory”

His Glory is in His Perfect Nature, which comes from His Perfect Righteousness.

The Good News!!

 God doesn’t desire to punish us!!

God found a way so that we don’t have to be eternally punished. He wants to be our companion and friend forever. He wants to share all His good things with us.

Isn’t that great news!!

Jesus Christ who is Gods Son freely said that He would come and be punished instead of us, and in our place. Isn’t that the kindest thing Jesus Christ could do?

God sent His only Son to rescue us. He came as a baby and was born in a humble animal-feeding trough, called a manger. Jesus Christ was born to a woman called Mary. Jesus Christ had no human dad, as God was His Father.

Mary husband’s name was Joseph, but they didn’t get married until after Jesus Christ was born.

God’s only Son, who is named Jesus Christ (The Messiah) became Gods Greatest Gift for you! He grew up as a child, just like you. He grew into an adult and He never did anything wrong! He said, He would gladly take our punishment for us and provided the way back to God. We can now go to heaven when we die, if we accept His sacrifice for, and instead of us.

What Must I Do To Be Saved? 

The creator of everything became a human being, and would gladly live with us, and would willingly be punished for our sins, instead of us. This is the Great unconditional Love of God!

Gods says the following in the bible.

We didn’t deserve it, but He still died for us, because it would please His Father by providing eternal salvation for all. How did He die instead of us?

The cruel rulers and most of the people at that time hated Him, because they were full of (themselves) which is arrogance, pride and jealousy. He said that He was their God and their Creator. They hated Him so much that they made up stories, and lied about him so badly and plotted to put Him to death. They had Him brought before the Roman governor on false charges. Though the Roman governor said that He was an innocent man, he gave into the Jewish cruel rulers demands, and sentenced Him to die by crucifixion. They nailed Him to a cross. He didn’t feel sorry for Himself or even cry. It was very painful and unfair. He didn’t grumble not even once!

It was then on the cross that God used this time to punish His only Son, instead of us. All our sin’s our disobedience and bad deeds, God The Father poured out onto His only Son and punished Him, instead of us as He hung there on the cross. It was then that He cried and cried, as He was bearing all of our sins and being spanked and punished by His Heavenly Father. His Heavenly Father had to reject Him, while He was punishing Him, because God is perfect and can have nothing to do with sin, except to punish it!

You can’t imagine how it must have felt. This was very unfair and painful for Him and for His Father too. Well it took three hours for God to punish Him for the sins of the entire world.   His Love for us was so Big!

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

After being punished for our sins, He breathed out and died and was taken off the cross, and placed in a new empty tomb. Three days later God resurrected Him from the dead. This is the first time in all human history that this has ever happened!

Hundreds of people saw Him alive, and some touched Him. He even ate food and drank with His followers, the disciples. After forty days He went back (ascended) to His Father in Heaven.

He is going to come back again! He said that He will return and take us to be with Himself, so that we can be with Him, and He with us forever in the new heavens and earth. He will destroy the old heavens and re-make the New Heavens. He will do this at a later time. He wants to save many more people yet, so they too can be where He is.

 Here’s another big enormous surprise for you!
There is only one thing you have to do to go heaven when we die.
All you have to do is to!

Believe that He was punished for all your sins on the cross. By believing that He died for, you are placing your trust in Jesus Christ and His work for you! That’s it! Just be willing to accept and believe in Him!!!

If you believe in Him, He becomes your very own Saviour and He will give you His very own Perfection (Righteousness) and Eternal Life, and make it so you can live with Him forever. You may think that is too easy! Well, for us it is that easy!

It’s as easy as accepting a gift on your birthday or Christmas that you did not pay for. Now that’s easy isn’t it? It was not easy for God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ

Why not just receive God’s gift today!

Remember is easy for us, but Jesus Christ had to pay a very high price for us.

What Must I Do To Be Forever Saved? 

God has provided the way to be saved so free and so easy that anyone can come, no matter how young or how old or how handicapped, or how bed bound. It doesn’t matter to God! He showed His love for all by providing this free and easy way for all. It doesn’t matter what you may have done wrong in the past, to others, or self. He will forgive unconditionally!

It is so easy to receive the Gods Gift of His Son and His forgiveness, as anyone can “Believe” in His Son. Gods Gift is completely free to all.

You can’t promise to be good to have God’s forgiveness and salvation. God does not accept our goodness as any good for our salvation, as good as we might be. Only Jesus Christ was good enough to pay the price of sin.

He is the only one who can open Heavens door and let us in.

He Paid our Debt to God in Full! Come just as you are and “Believe” in Him.

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

 “Dear God and Heavenly Father. Thankyou for sending your only Son Jesus Christ to die for me and provide the way to heaven when I die. I believe that Jesus Christ was punished instead of me for all my wrongness (sins) on the cross”

Amen!

That is all you have to do. You will never face the place of eternal punishment. Hell was not made for you, but the Devil and his millions and millions of bad angels. He has to go there because of his disobedience against God, His Creator. God has provided for you an escape route from Hell, while you are alive now. You can’t return from the dead and choose then. Your choice is locked in when you die. It’s your choice where you will live and spend eternity! Sword Drill: John 3: 16 & 18 & 36

   

 He was raised to life to so you can also later be raised to life with God - Wow! You won’t spend eternity with the Devil.

From the Cross to the Grave and then Alive Forevermore!!

 When we die, we go strait to be with Jesus our Saviour, once we are saved. God says that there in no eternal judgement for all who belong to Jesus Christ.

 Just accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and score a bull’s eye with God.

We don’t know about tomorrow!

When you have scored a bull’s eye with God and done what God wants you to do.
You only have to “Believe” in Jesus Christ ONCE! For eternal salvation to be yours

You are then firmly in the hand of Jesus Christ Forever.

Dear Heavenly Father:
Thank you for sacrificing Your only Son for me. Thank You that He came and carried and was punished for my sins, and through believing in Him I can have Your life and live with you forever. Thankyou that The Holy Spirit has shown me this very clearly!
